Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Velo (“Velo,” “we,” “us”), the venture-intelligence platform at velo-labs.ai. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Velo.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use Velo on behalf of a company or fund, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-export data from the platform, or build a competing dataset from it.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Velo’s data or content without our written permission.
• Misrepresent your identity, or contact other members for spam, harassment, or unsolicited solicitation.
• Attempt to breach security, access data you’re not authorized to, or disrupt the service.
• Use the platform unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights.

You retain ownership of the information you add (your profile, notes, and inputs). You grant Velo a limited license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the platform and provide the service to you. You’re responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you submit, and for having the rights to share it.

The catalog, analytics, matching, and AI-generated summaries (“Velo Content”) are provided for your own business use. Velo Content is compiled from public sources and computed signals and is offered “as is” for informational purposes — it is not investment, legal, financial, or professional advice. Verify anything you rely on for a decision. Velo and its licensors retain all intellectual-property rights in the platform and Velo Content.

Velo uses AI to generate summaries, suggestions, and answers. AI output can be incomplete or wrong — treat it as a starting point, not a source of truth. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Velo is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or limit access to maintain or improve the service. We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access.

You may stop using Velo and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the platform and its members. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

Velo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Velo Content is accurate, complete, or current.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business, arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold Velo harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

We may update these Terms; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
