Meet your host

Haim Ateya

Founder & CEO, Velo Labs

An operator's experience. An investor's questions.

Haim spent nearly two decades in technology, working alongside CEOs and executive teams at companies with more than $100M in ARR. For six and a half years he was at Aqua Security, where he led R&D operations and then served as VP Operations and Chief of Staff to the CEO, before serving as COO of a US fintech.

In 2026 he founded Velo Labs, a venture studio and founder advisory firm in Tel Aviv, and has since met more than 150 founding teams. On FUNDABLE? he asks the questions a careful investor would ask, and tells you what he hears.

Q&A

Questions founders ask us.

Do I need revenue or investors to apply?

No. Founders at the idea, pre-seed and seed stages can apply. You don't need revenue, existing investors or a finished product.

What's the difference between ON AIR and PRIVATE?

ON AIR is recorded as a public video podcast episode. PRIVATE is a confidential session with pitch preparation and structured feedback, and its recording is never published.

Does it cost anything?

ON AIR is free for selected founders. For the PRIVATE session, we share the details after you apply.

Will I be introduced to investors?

FUNDABLE? doesn't promise introductions, investment or a raise. In the PRIVATE track, we share your session with relevant potential investors only if you explicitly approve it.

Will my episode definitely be published?

No. Velo Labs selects and edits the ON AIR episodes, so recording a session doesn't guarantee release or reach.

What if I'm not ready?

That's the point. Twenty minutes of investor questions show you what's missing while there's still time to fix it.

What happens after I apply?

We read every application ourselves and reply by email.

Every great company starts with a question.

Are you fundable?
