The short answer: we verified 36 notable Israeli pre-seed, seed and Series A rounds announced between January and July 2026 against company announcements and reputable press. Half are in cybersecurity. Team8 took part in 11 of them. Six were a seed and a Series A announced together at a stealth launch. Among the rounds announced as seed only, the median was $7.5 million; among Series A rounds, $25 million.

This is a curated list, not a complete count of every Israeli round. It includes rounds we could confirm against a primary or reputable source. Companies marked * are headquartered abroad with Israeli founders and R&D in Israel. Spotted a mistake or a missing round? Let us know.

What the list shows

  • Cyber is half the list.18 of the 36 rounds are security companies, consistent with industry reports that cyber leads Israeli seed and Series A deal counts.
  • Stealth launches with two rounds.Act Security, Jazz, Fig Security, Gambit Security, Astelia and Fundamental announced a seed and a Series A together. These headline numbers are a poor benchmark for a typical seed.
  • A typical seed is smaller than the headlines. The median of the 12 rounds announced as seed only was $7.5 million.
  • A few investors appear again and again.Team8 took part in 11 rounds; Insight Partners led three; Glilot Capital, TLV Partners, Index Ventures and Ten Eleven each appear more than once.
  • AI everywhere. Most of the non-security rounds are AI-native products, from insurance and sales agents to document and tabular AI.

Method

We started from the rounds in the Velo database for January to October 2026, removed companies that are not Israeli or were misattributed, and verified each remaining round against a company announcement or reputable press. Amounts, round types and dates follow the announcement. Where a company announced a combined seed and Series A without a split, we show the total. We will update this list as we verify more rounds.
